Meet & Greet on arrival at Paro Airport and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon start for half day Thimphu sightseeing. Covering King’s Memorial Chorten (Monument), Changangkha Monastery, National Zoo (Contains National Animal Takin), BBS Tower, Traditional Paper Factory (made from Daphne plant). Overnight stay will be at Thimphu.

After breakfast drive to Punakha / Wangdue Phodrang (4,300 ft.), via Dochu-La-Pass (10,170 ft.). Continue towards Punakha visit Chimi Lhakhang – The Temple of Fertility built in 15th century. Also visit Punakha Dzong. On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay will be at Punakha / Wangdue.

After breakfast visit Wangdue Dzong & start for full day excursion to Gangtey (9,840 ft.). Gangtey is the home of Black Necked Crane which migrate from the arid plains of Tibet in the north. It is a beautiful valley of Bhutan. You can visit Gangtey Gompha. Afternoon return back to Punakha. Overnight stay will be at Punakha / Wangdue.

After breakfast visit Wangdue Dzong & transfer to Paro (7,483 ft.). Afternoon visit Ta Dzong – National Museum with an excellent collection of Bhutanese antiquities. Rinpung Dzong – the administrative seat of the district of Paro. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay will be at Paro..

After breakfast visit Drukgyel Dzong. Also visit famous Taktsang Monastery – called “Tiger’s Nest” (2hrs hike from the base camp) & Kitchu Monastery. Overnight stay will be at Paro

After breakfast check out from hotel and drop at Paro Airport for your onward journey.
